Is Methodify WCAG compliant?

We follow guidelines set out by WCAG. If a respondent needs accommodation we provide solutions to enable them to participate in studies.

Survey Accessibility and WCAG Compliance

Methodify’s survey engine is powered by Forsta Surveys.  While many elements of the surveys adhere to WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA standards, we cannot guarantee that all content presented will be accessible due to the dynamic nature of the surveys.  Surveys have the options to leverage rich multimedia that are potentially not accessible due to their visual nature.

The following questions and elements are WCAG-compliant (or are being updated to improve compliance). Compliant questions and elements support screen readers, such as Job Access with Speech (JAWS) or NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access), as well as the use of the keyboard to answer questions (e.g., via the Tab button, space bar, and arrow keys):

• Multiple answer
• Grid / Matrix (except when using carousel)
• Multiple answer grid
• Open end
• Numeric
• Information

The following questions and elements are considered WCAG non-compliant, as their functionality is not conducive to screen readers, nor using keyboards to answer questions:
