Custom quotas allow you to add 1 or 2 single select questions to your sample and specify the desired quota breakouts for the answer options for them. Once approved by our Methodify operations team, anyone else within your company will be able to use the custom quotas you set up for any project they want to run.
To request a new custom quota, click on “Add criteria” within the sample editor.
You’ll see the new “Custom quotas” tab and underneath that tab you can click the + sign on a new tile to set up your screening question, quotas, and quota groups (if desired) and submit the request.
Our operations team will review your inputs, and you will receive an email notification letting you know whether it’s been approved or rejected with the reason why. When it is approved, the question will automatically exist under the custom quotas tab for everyone in your company.
Then you can select your approved custom quota and add it to your sample. The question will be populated into the sample editor (in just the same way as Advanced Criteria works now).
It is important to note that the custom quota itself is not editable, and you can only add 1 or 2 custom quotas to a particular project. So, if you want to make changes, you’ll need to send a new request.
After you’ve added your custom quota, the sample editor summary card will include a message that you should update the incidence rate (IR) based on the new criteria that you’ve added.
You can now preview and send your project for launch as you normally would, and the custom quota question will be reported as a chart and available within the crosstabs and filters in the on-platform reporting.
