AI Answer Probe

Methodify Go/2.0 users* who include open-end questions in their surveys have the option to enable the AI Answer Probe feature.  When enabled, it engages with respondents, encouraging them to expand on their initial answer and provide more details to help uncover deeper, more descriptive feedback.

Using the feature is easy; simply enable the AI Answer Probe toggle and set the tone and number of probes (see screenshots below).  The respondent's final answer will be included in the project's reporting and used to populate the world cloud and AI Summary data; the interactions with the AI probes will be excluded from the reports and open-end exports, but will be included in the raw data exports under columns with “_debug” after the question number.  Example:

How to use AI Answer Probe:

1. When configuring an open-end survey question, enable to the AI Answer Probe toggle.

2. Once enabled, select the tone of the AI probes by choosing empathetic (default), energetic, professional, playful, or funny, and how many times (1-3) to probe the respondent.  Click “Save” to finish configuring the question.
