Additional Answer Options

Additional answer options can be added to grid questions within a method. This gives users the ability to include all the answer options they need for a specific project without going in to edit the survey. However, the main attributes that are set for that method can't be changed and are asked every time.

To set this up, edit the survey within your method and open the settings menu for your grid question. Select Dynamic Answer Options.

Select the number of additional answer options you’ll allow users to add above the base ones for the method, and any instructions you want to provide.

When a user starts a project, the additional answer options input fields will appear for them to add their custom attributes for the project. They can preview how the question is currently asked so they don’t repeat with a similar attribute that is already being asked.

The new answer options are automatically included in the survey preview and live mode – all without needing to edit the survey itself.
