Pipe Text from Survey

All of the standard question types on Methodify allow you to pipe answers from previous questions into the question text, the answer options or the column headers. This can help keep respondents engaged by creating more specific questions and answers as respondents progress through a study.

To set it up click Pipe Text and Pipe Text from Survey when you are editing the question. 

And then choose which question and/or answer you'd like to be inserted.

You'll see a placeholder to indicate the question you've selected and the answer will be added automatically in both preview and live mode. 

Answer piping

Reference previous responses by piping them directly into answer options.  To enable this, click the three dots next to the answer input to open the options menu. From there, select whether the pipe-in source should be from the survey or the configure page, and choose the desired reference.
