Simulated Reports

Methodify Go users can view their reports with simulated data prior to launching a project. This offers an opportunity to review reporting when a project is in Draft mode to see how data will be presented before the project launches.

Simulated reports use randomly generate data and account for skip and screen logic, where filters, exports, groupings, and crosstabs can be used the same way they are on an actual report.* 

How to use it:

1. Click the “Generate simulated report” button to preview a report when configuring a project. 
2. A modal with messaging will appear; click “Continue” on the modal to begin generating the report.
3. After approximately one minute, the simulated report will appear. 
4. Review the simulated report to see how data will be presented and refine survey if necessary.  To go back to the configuration page to update or launch a project, click the "View Project" button on the top right on the simulated report.

(*Note: Open-ends will have place holders and there will be no Theme Generator).
