Single Grid/Matrix question type

The Grid/Matrix question type on Methodify provides users with the ability to select an answer option for each item in a list of statements or attributes.

Key benefits of the Grid/Matrix question include:

• Users can gather feedback across multiple items within the same category, providing respondents with a streamlined way to review several items at once.
• Users can utilize skip logic, screening logic, answer masking, and answer ordering within the Grid/Matrix question.
• Results from the Grid/Matrix question are presented in easy-to-read charts, enabling side-by-side comparisons between stimuli when used within monadic or sequential monadic blocks.

There are two ways for respondents to interact with Grid/Matrix questions: 

1. The default setting presents the questions, answers, and scales in a traditional grid interface.

2. There is also a Carousel setting that can be enabled that allows the respondent to view one statement/image at a time while answering, providing a more focused experience rather than viewing all at the same time.

To use the Carousel on a Methodify Go project:

1. Select “Carousel” when configuring the Grid/Matrix question.

2. Enable the carousel view and save.

3. When question and answer text is entered, click Save.  You are able to view the question as a carousel and there is an icon to indicate the question will be displayed to respondents as a carousel.
