Methodify Standard Methods and Custom Client Methods come with the ability for even a non-researcher to set up and launch a project in minutes. Configuration options allow you to quickly upload a variety of stim types and use Dynamic Piping and Additional Answer Options to customize the content without having to touch the survey itself.
1. Choose your method
Methodify has a number of Standard Methods available on Marketplace, or, you can build custom methods that meet the needs of your organization. Your custom methods can be found under the My Methods tab.
2. Select your audience
Once you choose a method and start a project, the first step is to select the audience you are looking to receive feedback from. Click on Add a Sample, and then you can choose from pre-set Methodify Samples, or you can create your own. Click Edit Sample to select your N size and hit Done Editing.
If you select multiple languages during the sample set up phase, you will be prompted to enter content for each language for the subsequent configuration options.
3. Enter Dynamic Piping content
If the method uses this feature, you’ll click Edit Dynamic Piping to enter information on what you are testing. The content you provide here will automatically populate the survey in the appropriate areas. In Methodify’s Standard Concept Test for example, you are prompted to enter the brand you are testing and this will automatically customize some of the questions in your survey, for example: Makes me think of Frank’s Steak House in a new way.
4. Enter Additional Answer Options
Next, if the method uses this feature, you will be able to get feedback on attributes specific to a project if you wish. For example, in addition to understanding how your target audience feels about your idea on standard attributes like relevance, confusion or uniqueness, you might want to ask if the ideas you are testing in a particular project make the viewer feel like exercising more often. Enter the additional attributes you want to test, and they will be automatically inserted into the question.
5. Upload your Stimuli
Most repeatable methods are used to validate or test an asset or idea which requires you to upload stimuli. First, choose whether you are uploading media (image, audio or video) or text, and then add and name your stimuli. The name you provide for each stimuli will be used to identify its results in your report. For tips on how to upload an image, audio or video click here.
