Uploading stimuli

Methodify users have the ability to upload text, audio, images and videos within methods. 

Select Media or Text from the dropdown, name your stimuli, and upload the file or enter the text you wish to test. The name that you give your stimuli is how it will be identified in your report.

You can upload an image, audio or video in the following ways.

1. Find the file on your device and drag the file into the highlighted area
2. Click to browse and select the file from your file browser

Image requirements

• Format: PNG, GIF, JPG or JPEG
• Max file size: 5MB
• Dimensions: Any size. The image is resized to best fit the respondent’s device

Video requirements 

• Format: MP4
• Max file size: 20MB

Audio requirements 

• Format: MP3
• Max file size: 20MB

Filename Requirements

The system allows you to upload files with any type of character included in the file name.

• Any invalid characters (e.g. $#@*) will be automatically removed
• If the name of the file you are uploading is exclusively made up of invalid characters, the system will automatically rename your file for you
