Report options

The reporting on Methodify is customizable to reflect what’s most important to your team or organization. Your project’s live reporting and exported reports update in real time when you select whichever charting categories you want displayed for any single select, grid or ranking question.

Select Chart Options in the settings cog for the question.

Answer Groups

Select answer groups and define which options you want grouped together and displayed in the chart.

You can also choose to collapse answer options into multiple categories if you wish (e.g. collapse Strongly Agree + Agree and Strongly Disagree + Disagree) so that there are more categories displayed in a stacked bar.  

When two or more categories are selected, the stat testing will display within the crosstabs for the question as opposed to within the chart itself.

Reverse answer scale order

Users have the option to reverse scales on their stacked bar charts.  This is helpful if a study was programmed with scales going negative → positive, but you prefer to see positive on the top of their charts; open the chart settings menu and select “Reverse answer scale order” from the dropdown (see below) and instantly reverse the scale.  

There will be an icon with arrows and “answer scale order reversed” text to indicate which chart scales have been reversed, and those chart settings will be remembered when they export the charts and if they leave the report and come back to it.
